Skate party to roll into Thornbury
Thornbury locals are preparing for De La Skate, a community event coming to the area in July.
This one-day roller disco will include three day and evening sessions, and caters to adults, children and families alike.
Attendees can expect powerful and old-school tunes from local musicians Cuz’n Matt, Goldie, Misterjon, Pixelton, TomTom and other special guests.
Skaters of all experience levels are invited to roll and weave amid the neon lights and “retro feels”.
There will be food trucks and a bar available throughout the day. Each skating session will include a prize for Best Dressed.
Organisers of similar community events can use banner printing to create inviting advertising. This can help captivate the local community and draw attendees both young and old alike.
De La Skate will be held on Saturday, 12 July at The Greenhouse, Welcome to Thornbury, 520 High Street, Northcote. Family-friendly skating will begin at 3:00 PM and conclude at 7:00 PM, with an adults-only session beginning at 7:00 PM and continuing until late.
Free skate hire is available for all ticket holders until 11:00 PM. Tickets are priced at $15 for under 18s, $20 for adults, $25 flat rate for the evening session, and $50 for a family pass (two adults and up to three children).
