Thornbury residents who support homegrown talent can catch Simon Hudson when he plays a solo summer show in the city. The Thornbury Local will open its doors to the accomplished Melbournite musician in January, when he performs a single-night show.

Renowned for his original music, Hudson blends a wide range of genres including roots, world and folk. A critic commented:

Simon Hudson will now perform a live set at The Thornbury Local on Sunday, January 12. The singer-songwriter will be on stage from 5 pm until 7 pm and the venue is based at 635 High Street in Thornbury.
