Learn the secrets of tea

Appreciating tea is an art that anyone can learn and can be quite a lot of fun. One of the global top 50 certified tea speakers recommended by the Speciality Tea Institute, May King Tsang, will be leading a collaborative workshop at Tea&Sympathy to introduce participants to the art of brewing, and appreciating, a good quality leaf tea.

The workshop is set to cover a full range of teas, including traditional Chinese teas. They will not only cover the preparation of teas, but indeed how to identify a good tea leaf, how to speak the tea lingo and tasting techniques. Newly learned skills will then be practiced on teas from a number of regions.

May King Tsang is the founder of MayKingTea, where she creates customised events where attendees can learn about creating and tasting various teas.

Poster printing and flyer printing is usually used to advertise events such as this tea workshop. May King Tsang is likely to have some business card printing done to publicise MayKingTea, while participants are also likely to distribute their own Business Cards in order to network at such a social event.

The workshop will be held at Tea&Sympathy, located at 781 High Street in Thornbury. It will run from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm on 6th July and tickets will cost $25 each, with a discounted price of $45 for two. It is advised to book early as places are limited. Bookings are to be made by emailing info@teaandsympathy.com.au or calling 0403 811 028.
