Holistic networking event to come to Thornbury
A holistic approach to end-of-life planning will be the subject of an event hosted by networking organisation, The Women’s Table (TWT), in May.
Malia Dewse’s presentation at the event will highlight many of the issues that need to be considered at this sensitive time, not just the importance of writing a will. She will explore the crucial role of planning and identifying priorities both for the person and their family. This can provide peace of mind and save thousands of dollars.
Dewse is the founder of company ‘Beyond the Will’ and will include in her talk the challenges of establishing and growing her business.
Custom letterheads can be an important tool for businesses like this to increase awareness.
TWT was established in 2013. A common characteristic of its members is an experience of transition, either personal or work related. This can be due to redundancy, migration or simply searching for new career opportunities. TWT provides networking and support for women so that they can confidently move forward.
The ‘Beyond the Will’ networking event will be held at Four Beans Café and Roasting House, 22 High Street in Northcote, near Thornbury. It will start at 12.30 pm with an opportunity for informal networking, with the presentation then running from 1 pm to 1.45 pm. Tickets, which are free for TWT members and $27.78 for non-members, are available online. Food and refreshments are at attendee’s own cost.
