The Seaford Wetlands Fun Run is to take place this November in Seaford.
This is an annual event which aims to raise funds for local mental health services and Kindred Clubhouse. Competitors can choose to run solo or in teams, over a 2km, 5km or 10km track. There is also a 5km walk available. The track is flat and sealed.
Being situated on the edge of wetlands, competitors are requested to use all rubbish bins provided and not to make unnecessary noise as it will be coming into nesting season for the native birds. Volunteers will be manning the starting line early with warm ups to begin around 8:15am. The 2km race will kick off 8:30am with the 5km and 10km race to begin at 9am and 9.05am respectively.
Food and drinks will be available for contestants and visitors, with a variety of market stalls selling hot and cold foods. Singlets and T-Shirts are also available for sale depicting the event’s Logo Design, which has been created by Seaford North Primary School students. All participants will receive a medal for their efforts.
The fun run is to be held on Sunday 24th November and will be held at Seaford Wetlands. Entry will cost $40 for one adult or $25 for children aged 16 years and under. Families and groups of six cost $120.Get a Free Quote for Logo Design Get a Free Quote for T-Shirts
