A wellness hub in Seaford will soon offer a learning opportunity teaching advanced techniques for relief of stress and anxiety.
The Liefde Wellness Centre will be presenting a workshop teaching Reiki master training. Designed for third- and fourth-degree practitioners, the event is three days long and will begin in late August.

The workshop is led by Nurtured Heart Living and is suited to candidates who have already achieved Reiki level one and two certifications and feel they are ready to take their skills and understanding to the next level.
Reiki is defined as a technique that employs energy force to encourage relaxation and help reduce anxiety and stress. The healing system originates in the east and dates to the 1900s. Mikao Usui is credited with being its founder.
The Reiki Masters Workshop will take place at the Liefde Wellness Centre from Friday, August 30 to Sunday, September 1. The centre is situated at 56 Hartnett Drive in Seaford.
Admission to the workshop is priced at $990 per person and light refreshments will be provides during the three days. Attendees are welcome to bring a long a lunch of their own if they desire.
