Seaford to celebrate women of rock

A show featuring some of the leading ladies of the Australian rock scene is coming to Seaford this winter.

Entitled “Australia’s Women of Rock”, the upcoming concert in Seaford will see a trio of renowned Aussie rock bands take to the stage. Promoters of local gigs will sometimes employ professional poster printing services to create attractive advertisements that encourage music fans in the area to attend.

Led by Lisa Perry, also known as Venomous Hells, hard rockers Hellz Abyss will be headlining the show. Renowned for their dynamic sound that features guitar riffs and screaming solos, the band formed back in 2019, with its members based all across Australia’s east coast in Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney.

Hellz Abyss will be joined by two four-piece bands from Melbourne on the night, HZED and Karly Jewell. An accomplished singer-songwriter, Jewell is among the latest rising talents of Melbourne and is the granddaughter of the legendary Australian country singer and songwriter Tony Jewell, who worked with Slim Dusty. Backed by her band, Jewell plays hard rock music and has worked with a wide range of artists and producers.

The Australia’s Women of Rock show will take place at the Scotties Garage venue, located at Unit 1, 71 to 77 Miles Grove in Seaford, on Saturday, August 6. The gig will begin at 7 pm.
