Musically minded residents of Seaford and its neighbouring suburbs will soon have an opportunity to connect and be part of local history, as the Frankston Music Community is launching via a networking event later this month.
Aiming to connect the local community through live music, the Frankston Music Community is an initiative being supported by Music Victoria, an independent, not-for-profit organisation aimed at providing advocacy and support for the state’s vibrant live music sector.
The Frankston Music Community is also intended to be modelled off the success of the nearby Mornington Peninsula Music Network, which is a team of passionate volunteers who have been actively supporting and promoting the live music scene in its community for over a decade. The Mornington Peninsula network will be sharing all its wisdom and experience as part of the new community’s launch.
Networking events and community groups such as this can benefit greatly from Promotional Products and poster printing aimed at promoting local events and musicians.
Presented by the Frankston Music Festival, the first event of which was held in 2017, this new initiative is also a means to help support and reinvigorate the live music community following last year’s festival cancellation.
The Frankston Music Community inaugural networking launch is scheduled for Wednesday, 14th April and will commence at 7pm. The launch will be a seated and ticketed event to be held at Cube 37, with tickets available via the Frankston Arts Centre.
