A training centre in Seaford is set to offer candidates the chance to become qualified forklift operators or brush up on their current skills.
An upcoming three-day programme for forklift operator training is taking place in June in Seaford. The courses, covering all areas of forklift operation, are being run by the Seaford branch of COVE Training, with different options available for drivers of varying skill levels.
Educational institutions and training centres alike can benefit from brochure printing services to produce informational Booklets that provide course details.
Forklift operator training programmes are designed to make sure drivers have the correct skills, knowledge and experience to use these warehouse workhorses safely and efficiently. Forklift trucks are constructed to make it simpler for heavy goods to be transported securely around workplaces, but completing courses is mandatory for operators.
While new drivers need to obtain a license before being legal to operate a forklift, drivers with experience should update their abilities every few years to ensure their knowledge is current.
The forklift courses are be held from 7.30 am to 4 pm from Wednesday, June 8 to Friday, June 10 at COVE Training Seaford, based at 56 Bardia Avenue. Beginners are advised to book the full three-day course, priced at $545 per person. However, experienced operators wanting a refresher can choose a two-evening or two-day course for just $450.
