A renowned British band with a name inspired by one of Australia’s marsupials is set to play Victoria this November.
Fans of UK indie sounds in Seaford and other suburbs will soon get the chance to see The Wombats perform live in Victoria. The group’s 2022 tour of Australia is designed to introduce audiences to material from their latest release entitled “Fix Yourself, Not The World” in January this year and their upcoming EP “Is This What It Feels Like To Feel Like This?” which was announced back in August and is set to launch in November ahead of the tour.

The upcoming EP will feature six tracks and has been described as The Wombat’s rawest recorded music to date. Instead of the band’s trademark polished synthesiser sounds, the new songs feature heavy choruses and spiky guitar riffs. The brand-new recording was mixed and produced mostly by the group’s bass guitar player Tord Øverland Knudsen at his home studio.
The Wombats will now play St Kilda’s Palais Theatre located at Lower Esplanade in Victoria on Sunday, November 27. The set will begin at 7 pm and end at 11 pm.Get a Free Quote for Graphic Design Services Get a Free Quote for Print Get a Free Quote for Posters
