Seaford area to celebrate legendary composer

A composer renowned for his cinematic scores will be paid tribute in Victoria next year.

Fans of classical music and films alike from Seaford and other parts of Victoria will soon have the chance to enjoy an evening dedicated to movie music maestro John Williams. An upcoming concert will be held in honour of the musical genius’ 90th birthday at Melbourne’s Sydney Myers Music Bowl.

Auditoriums, amphitheatres, arenas and other outdoor event spaces often use banner printing services to create large-scale signage at the shows they host. Those attending the show in the new year will get the chance to see and hear the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, led by conductor Jessica Gethin, perform the works of Williams.

The programme for the evening includes music from well-known movies, such as those in the Star Wars saga and both the Indiana Jones and Harry Potter series. Other music featured will be 'Devil's Dance' from The Witches of Eastwick, 'Flight to Neverland' from Hook, 'Adventures on Earth' from E.T. and the Jurassic Park main title theme, to name but a few.

The Evening of John Williams event will take place at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl on Linlithgow Avenue in Melbourne on Saturday, 12th February 2022. Gates are set to open at 4.30 pm, and the performance will begin at 7.30 pm.
