Queensland metalcore band to storm Seaford area

Seaford is set to welcome an acclaimed Australian metalcore outfit from Gympie to the stage next year.

Those looking for a rocking start to 2024 in Seaford won’t want to miss Queensland’s The Amity Affliction when they play live in Frankston in January.

The band formed back in 2003 in high school when friends Joseph Lilwall, Ahren Stringer and Troy Brady were in their final year. They have since gained a loyal following from extensive touring and their eight studio albums. Bands of all music genres often work with talented Graphic Design Services to set artwork and typography for album covers and promotional materials.

From Severed Ties and Youngbloods to Chasing Ghosts and Misery, the bands albums are renowned for the deeply personal songs they contain, dealing with a wide range of social and mental health many fans find relatable.

May 2023 saw The Amity Affliction release a brand-new album called Not Without My Ghosts, and the upcoming concert in Frankston will allow the band to showcase new material from its track list. Singles like Show Me Your God, I See Dead People, It’s Hell Down Here and the eponymous title track Not Without My Ghosts are expected to be performed, and more venerable tracks from their extensive songbook are also likely to be included in the show’s set-list.

The Amity Affliction will play Pier Promenade in Frankston, Victoria on Friday, January 19.
