A local farmers’ market will be held on New Year’s Day in Seaford, selling fresh produce from around the area.
The Seaford Farmers’ Market will be taking place on January 1, offering those visiting a chance to pick up some fresh food products for their New Year’s Day table. Promising value-added goods from around Seaford, the local market is dedicated to selling a diverse range of foodstuffs right in season, with affordable price tags.
The organisers note that while local farmers’ and artisans’ markets are sometimes considered expensive, statistics suggest otherwise and show that prices for goods are on a par with supermarkets.
Popular vendors selling their produce at local events like farmers’ markets and food fairs sometimes take a long a supply of branded Business Cards to hand out to new customers or potentials contacts within their industry.
The Seaford market is organised by a local institution, the Rotary Club of Frankston. Operating in the area since 1950, it works to support local communities across Australia and throughout the world, with projects undertaken as far as South America. The club is passionate about its efforts and is committed to helping others in need.
The first Seaford Farmers’ Market of 2023 will take place on Sunday, January 1, between 8:00 am and 1:00 pm on station Street at the Broughton Reserve. Admission is $2 per person.
