Seaford is set to host three days of training for those looking to gain useful forklift skills.
A three-day schedule of forklift driver training will be taking place in Seaford in early March. The forklift licence courses over the period are presented by Seaford’s COVE Training and feature different options suited to a selection of skill levels.
Local training companies and educational institutions alike can sometimes benefit from professional brochure printing services to create literature detailing the learning opportunities they offer.
Forklift driver training courses are designed to ensure operators have the correct knowledge, experience and skills to safely use these useful vehicles. Often described as warehouse workhorses, forklifts are engineered to make it easier for heavy loads to be securely transported around workplaces but passing courses is critical for drivers.
While absolute beginners need a license before they can operate a forklift, those with experience are advised to update their knowledge periodically with a refresher course.
The COVE Training forklift licence courses will take place between 7.30 am and 4 pm from Wednesday, March 2 to Friday, March 4 at 56 Bardia Avenue in Seaford. Three-day courses are advised for beginners and cost $545 per person, while experienced forklift operators seeking a refresher can opt for a two-day or two-evening course at $450. An additional fee is also payable to WorkSafe to receive a license.
