Handcrafted goods from Seaford popular at local market

Seaford Handmade Market is offering a place to find anything homemade, handmade, and completely unique.

First established in 2013, this monthly market has grown over time, and is faithfully supported by residents who enjoy something out of the ordinary.

The market takes place in and around the Scout Hall, near the Kananook Creek, surrounded by nature. Goods on offer include fresh produce as well as handmade articles for the home, and carefully crafted items which are ideal for special gifts. Such items as dried herbs, handmade basket ware, jams and jellies, soaps and candles, jewellery and vintage clothing, plants and health products are all available here.

Against this setting the market provides plenty of opportunity for creative entrepreneurs. Local Print shops are nearby, ready to provide such things as Catalogues, Flyers and Brochures, as well as marketing services. Anyone interested in having a stall at the Seaford Handmade Market should email the organisers at seasidemarket@live.com and ask for an application form.

The market is open from 9:00 am until 1:00 pm on the third Sunday of every month, except January, which means that the next market will take place on Sunday, September 17, at the Seaford Scout Hall, Station Street, near the train station. Entrance is free and there is plenty of parking available around the site.
