The Visit Frankston photography competition ends soon, and visitors – as well as residents of Seaford and other nearby suburbs – have only a few days left to get their entries in for the final prize of $100.
This competition has been running every month for the last year, and is for any photograph of the type that might encourage visitors to the area. All entries need to have been taken within the municipality of Frankston, including suburbs like Seaford, Langwarrin and Carrum Downs. Photographers are welcome to enter more than one photograph if they wish, but the work has to be their own, and not taken by someone else.
Photos should be uploaded via Instagram, and the hashtag #visitfrankston must be included in the caption.
While this competition calls for a digital photo to be uploaded, it is worth noting that Seaford is a popular holiday destination with opportunities for many photographs which would also be perfect for printing on Postcards, note pads, Corporate Gifts and other Stationery.
Since May 2016, one photographer each month has won $100, but this competition will have its final award at the end of this month. Entries need to be posted on Instagram before midnight on Friday, June 30 to be eligible. Terms and conditions are downloadable from the Visit Frankston contest page.
