Seaford families can get into the festive spirit this weekend with the Frankston Christmas Festival of Lights.
The celebration, which has been running for 17 years, is a firm favourite on the Frankston City calendar and this year will feature a host of events for people of all ages.
The main stage will be headlined by singer Harrison Craig, who shot to fame on the television show The Voice, which he won in 2013. The young musician has since amassed a large fan base.
Craig’s fans could use banner printing to show their support for the singer, perhaps even earning a shoutout from the star himself if he spots them.
Younger children will enjoy a visit from Captain Barnacles from the Octonauts and a performance from Elmo and the Cookie Monster. Children can also take a trip to the North Pole activity centre, where they can make a decoration to take home and visit Santa, letting him know what they would like for Christmas.
Grown-ups will enjoy tasting the range of flavours at the food court, while the highlight of the event may be the lighting of the Christmas tree and the fireworks display.
The festival takes place on Saturday, November 29th at various venues around Frankston. For full details, visit the Frankston City Council website.
