Australian artist to play Seaford

Seaford is set to welcome a talented son of Victoria to the stage at one of its most popular live music venues.

Seaford music fans will get a chance to enjoy the musical talents of Australian singer-songwriter and guitarist, Geoff Achison, this April. The acclaimed independent artist will be appearing at local venue Scotties Garage Café.

From cafes and concert halls to auditoriums and arenas, venues of all dimensions sometimes look to skilled flyer printing services to create colourful hand-to-hand advertising materials that engage potential ticket buyers.

Born in Cowes on Victoria’s Phillip Island, Achison is celebrated for his work in the soul, blues, and blues-rock music genres. 2012 saw the musician awarded four times by the Melbourne Blues Appreciation Society winning the titled of 'Male Artist of the Year', 'Song of the Year', 'Album of the Year', and 'Band of the Year' in a single ceremony.

From 1989 to 1996, he performed lead guitar duties for Dutch Tilders before launching a solo career. A festival favourite, Achison has appeared at numerous music events in Australia like Port Fairy Folk Festival, the Australian Blues Music Festival, the Wangaratta Jazz Festival, and the Sydney Blues Festival to name but a few.

Geoff Achison will be at Scotties Garage Café on Sunday, April 7. The venue is based at 1/71-77 Miles Grove in Seaford and the show will start at 4 pm.
