Lunchtime networking to head for Hawthorn

A café in Hawthorn is hosting an afternoon club designed for professional people seeking to make valuable business connections.

Enterprising individuals working in Hawthorn can enjoy this informal networking opportunity hosted by local organisation the Camberwell Business Club. It will take the form of a lunchtime meeting, and professional people in the suburb are invited to get involved.

Entrepreneurs, executives, founders and other professionals joining networking groups often use business card printing services to equip themselves with smart-looking calling cards that hit the right note with new contacts.

Offering a relaxed atmosphere, the event assembles local businesspeople for a light lunch. Each month, different guest speakers will appear to share their business knowledge and experience to inspire all attending.

Founded in1948, the Camberwell Business Club is a well-established but welcoming group that welcomes non-member to join its meetings. However, club members enjoy additional benefits like passes for guests, subsidised lunches and free entry to events presented by the Camberwell Trader's Association, like the Camberwell Junction Business Forum.

The club’s current members come from a diverse range of sectors that include retail, IT, legal, finance and property, among others.

The Camberwell Business Club will meet on Thursday, April 2 at the Deco Café. The venue is easy to locate on Camberwell Road in Hawthorn. Casual admission to attend is charged at $30 per guest.
