An art gallery based in Hawthorn is launching two brand-new exhibitions this spring with an opening event.
Art aficionados can attend this special event happening in the suburb this year. An art gallery is holding an exhibition opening that will launch the 2026 Boroondara Summer Salon and The Uncomfortable Truth.

The Boroondara Summer Salon is a yearly celebration featuring local artistic talent. A showcase of creativity, it boasts pieces from artists working, studying and living in the area. Some of the art presented will include a range of media including photography, drawings, paintings and more, and will reflect a diverse variety of subjects, stories and styles.
The Uncomfortable Truth features the art of Megan Evans and Maree Clarke. The artists share a 35-year history and have worked together on multiple projects, including serving the Wyndham Art Gallery as co-curators.
The exhibition opening will now take place at the Town Hall Gallery on Saturday, November 14. The event will start at 2 pm and end at 4 pm, with the gallery located within the Hawthorn Arts Centre at 360 Burwood Road.
