Hawthorn to hear vocal tribute

A show paying homage to a female singer is set to grace the stage of an arts hub in Hawthorn this year.

Music lovers in the area with a passion for the songs of singer Linda Ronstadt will be treated to an evening celebrating her iconic ‘70s era. Depicting the diverse artist, Australian country star Ella Hooper of Violet Town, Victoria will be in the spotlight, supported by her all-star band, Deadnecks.

Local arts centres often call upon dependable banner printing services for appealing ads they can use to signpost events for the public.

Fans of Ronstadt will hear Hooper sing a carefully curated set list of classics on the night including You’re No Good, Willin’, Long, Long Time, It’s So Easy, Tumblin’ Dice, Silver Threads & Golden Needles, When Will I Be Loved and Blue Bayou, among others.

Split into two separate sets, the show includes an interval for audiences to order refreshments.

The Linda Ronstadt Show will be performed live at the Hawthorn Arts Centre on Saturday, September 5. The concert will commence at 7.30 pm and run until 9.30 pm, with the centre sited at 360 Burwood Road. Both the bar and box office will be open ahead of the event at 6.30 pm, and tickets are available priced between $30 and $60. Reserved seating rules apply.
