A cinema in Hawthorn is due to host the Melbourne leg of the Climbing Film Tour 2025.
The tour provides a unique platform for climbing enthusiasts to connect and support stories from around the world, created by fellow climbers and filmmakers.
Attendees can expect roughly two hours of short films featuring moving personal stories and scenic climbs from across the globe. Films are collected and curated by the Vertical Life Magazine, with submission open to any member of the international climbing community.
The tour was originally launched in 2020 with the goal of inspiring climbers during a time when lockdown limited outdoor activity. Now in its sixth season, the Climbing Film Tour aims to create a forum for climbers and filmmakers to come together and inspire communities everywhere. They also take bookings and provide resources for small or independent venues to host their own Climbing Film Tour events.
Short film festivals like this one often turn to banner printing services to provide the promotional materials for venues. This promotion may include large Banners displaying event information, Posters to be displayed throughout the venue or Flyers to spread word of the event throughout the community.
The Climbing Film Tour will come to Hawthorn’s Lido Cinema’s for one screening only. The film will be shown from 7 pm to 9 pm on Thursday, November 6.Get a Free Quote for Flyers Get a Free Quote for Posters Get a Free Quote for Banners
