Business and community come together in Hawthorn
The City of Boroondara will bring together local business and not-for-profit leaders from Hawthorn and the wider area for a structured and interactive approach to networking. Offered in partnership with Hatrick and Co., the session is designed to connect like-minded organisations and encourage positive outcomes for the wider community.
Focused on ‘Linking business and community’ the free session will help local business leaders identify potential partners and collaborative opportunities based on their goals and values, and leverage these connections to drive positive contributions and change in the local community. Attendees will have the chance to hear from their peers, learn about potential partnership or collaboration opportunities, and sharpen their networking skills through exercises designed to help them get the most out of the session.
Melbourne-based company Hatrick and Co. have spent over a decade working with local ‘purpose-driven’ organisations to ‘create connections, unearth possibilities, and discover pathways forward’. Their sessions are designed to help attendees strengthen relationships within and between organisations, establish a connection between personal values and professional goals, and use this insight to build a strategic future.
Business cards can be a great tool to facilitate connections at networking events like this one, allowing attendees to easily share contact information and continue building connections after the session ends.
The Good Connections: linking business and community workshop will take place on Thursday August 21st from 6pm at the Hawthorn Arts Centre.
