A rock band from Essex, England will be performing an autumn show at one of Melbourne’s biggest venues.
Fans of UK rock from Epping and other parts of the coastal capital will soon be able to catch Nothing but Thieves when they play Melbourne’s Margaret Court Arena this May. The renowned alt-rockers will be returning to Australia in honour of their most recent studio release Dead Club City.
Record companies and bands often work closely with expert Graphic Design Services to produce artwork for albums that fit their image and sound. Dead Club City’s cover was created by artist Luke Brickett and features an eerie cityscape at sundown to complement the atmospheric music of Nothing but Thieves.
The Essex five-piece will be performing the entirety of the 2023 recording which is their first ever number one album. It includes the singles “Welcome to the DCC”, “Tomorrow is Closed” and “Overcome” and “Keeping you Around”, which will all be played at the upcoming gig. However, fans will also get to hear a host of classic tracks from the band’s previous three releases, which may include favourites like “Itch”, “Amsterdam” and “Is Everybody Going Crazy”.
Nothing but Thieves will be on stage at the Margaret Court Arena on Saturday, May 4. The area is based at Olympic Boulevard in Melbourne and the show will begin at 6.30 pm.
