Photography workshop to capture Croydon
Beginner photographers and those seeking to refresh their skills behind the lens are invited to attend an upcoming course, scheduled to land in Croydon in July.
Designed for those with DSLR and mirrorless system cameras, this two-night workshop will offer a deep dive into DSLR cameras and their functions, with practical learning experiences, theoretical components, and hands-on exercises designed to help photographers gain confidence and expertise.
Attendees will learn about the key areas of ISO, aperture and shutter speed, with additional focus given to secondary and creative elements, including focus modes, resolution, composition, and equipment.

The Beginner’s Photography Workshop will be held on Tuesday, July 8 and Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at the Croydon Camera House Studio, Level 1, 125 Main Street, Croydon, VIC 3136. Both sessions will run from 7:00PM to 9:30PM, and participants will be given printed materials to take home for further learning. The cost for these sessions is $179, with a special discounted rate of $129 if a camera was purchased at Croydon or Ringwood Camera House.
