Band to cover Australian classics in Croydon

Music fans from Croydon who appreciate home-grown talent can enjoy an evening where an acoustic trio plays some of the great popular classics that inform contemporary Australian music culture.

The RNR Acoustic Trio consists of Nerida Newell (vocalist), Shane Mack (vocalist, musician) and Ron Glass (musician). The trio is known for its unplugged performances; they are stripped-back and energetic, to include classic Australian rock anthems, hits and singalong favourites which are ever popular with an appreciative audience. Although the trio tends not to have a fixed playlist, those attending can expect favourites from the likes of The Seekers, Silverchair, Hoodoo Gurus and The Screaming Jets, not forgetting INXS and Crowded House both also popular in the international arena.

The music plus some additional stories will be performed with skill and passion to create a celebratory evening that will honour Australian classics which have contributed to the culture of the nation over many decades and are loved by many.

Local printing services are one of the ways in which the organisers of musical events are able to produce advertising material within the community.

Aussie Anthem Countdown is taking place on Friday 27th November in the Concert Lounge at the Croydon Bowling Club, corner of Mt Dandenong Road and Civic Square, Croydon VIC 3136. Tickets cost $27. Doors open at 7.30pm and the show starts at 8.30pm.
