James Bond headed for Croydon

A Croydon cinema is set to screen 007’s big screen return.

A special opening night of the latest film to be added to the James Bond series will now be held in Croydon. The screening of “No Time to Die” will be presented by the Rotary Club in Wandin, and it will mark actor Daniel Craig’s fifth appearance in the role of the famous British superspy.

Bond has proved an exceptional draw for cinema goers ever since the character first flew off the pages of Ian Fleming’s famous novels and onto the silver screen in 1963, with Sean Connery playing him in “Dr. No”.

Local theatres and cinemas often use poster printing services to showcase their upcoming attractions to members of the public, both outside and within their foyers. Those attending the premier film night will be able to enjoy a selection of sparkling wine, along with non-alcoholic beverages.

The opening night of No Time to Die will take place on Thursday evening on September 30 at Croydon Theatres Cinema One on 3 Hewish Road. Doors to the venue will open at 6.15pm, and the film will begin at 6.30pm.

The film premier entry price is a $20 donation from each person to fund support the Taveuni Education Project, which was set up to support schooling in the Fijian island.
