An event arriving in Melbourne next year will offer business professionals a chance to connect with others in the area.
From remote workers to office-based staff, businesspeople from Croydon and other suburbs of the city are being invited to get out from behind their desks and network this January.
From small business owners to freelancers, professionals attending networking events often kit themselves out with branded Business Cards they can hand out to new contacts they encounter.
The upcoming event will be held at the Pullman Melbourne on the Park hotel, and led by business influencer Edward Zia, who will be coming to Melbourne from Sydney to help kick off the networking with some helpful exercises. Those attending can arrive at the hotel before the event begins for a networking lunch that starts at 1pm.
An informal event, the networking session is designed to provide a relaxed atmosphere for meeting potential colleagues, clients and collaborators with drinks. It is ideal for coaches, enterprise owners, mentors and other professionals seeking to connect.
The business network event will take place on Friday, January 12. The hotel can be found at 178-226 Wellington Parade in East Melbourne, and the event will run from 2.30pm, running to 4.30pm.
