Comedy classes to come to Croydon area

A Melbourne events venue will soon be presenting a comprehensive course in stand-up comedy.

Budding comedians from Croydon and other Melbourne suburbs will get a chance to raise their game this autumn. Led by professional comedians including Rusty Berther, a course called “Learn Stand-Up Comedy” will be taught at Roxy’s, a creative events space in the capital.

While the upcoming learning opportunity is designed for those seeking a comic career on the stage and screen, it is also suitable for keynote speakers and those simply ticking a goal off their bucket list.

Organisers of education events often reach out to expert brochure printing services to create glossy Booklets that showcase the elements of courses and classes to potential candidates.

Along with one-on-one tuition from an expert comedy coach, participants will also receive a copy of a comedy manual and 12-month access to an online comedy course. They’ll also receive professional headshots they can use in their marketing, and a video of their graduation performance. Finally, access will be granted to a network of professional comedians and contacts to help new acts kick-start their career.

The Learn Stand-Up Comedy course will take place at Roxy’s over five evenings from Sunday, 19 to Thursday, 23 May. The venue can be found at 2 Alfred Place in South Melbourne, and the nightly sessions will run from 6.30pm to 9.30pm.
