Business owners from Broadmeadows and around the City of Hume have the chance to hear from the head of Australian tennis this month as the city holds its special sports business breakfast.
The guest speaker at the breakfast will be Tennis Australia’s chief executive officer and director of the Australian Open, Craig Tiley, who is known for developing the Australian Open tournament into a major event and helped grow the status of tennis across the country.
Tiley has been involved with the Open for more than 10 years and also played tennis professionally for three years, captaining South Africa’s Davis Cup team.
Hume Mayor Adem Atmaca said the breakfast would be interesting not only for sport-related companies, but for business owners from any sector.
Tiley will discuss the current state of tennis in Australia, and will also be able to give insight into running successful events and growing a business.
With such a range of industries likely to be represented, the event could be a good chance to extend business networks, so anyone attending might like to take traditional printed Business Cards or digital Business Cards with them, so they can pass on their details.
The breakfast takes place on Thursday, October 22, at the Hume Tennis and Community Centre and guests are invited to stay for a game of tennis after the presentation. Places can be booked through Hume City Council.Get a Free Quote for Business Cards
