Young basketball fans in the Broadmeadows area will be keen to sign up for a day of instruction in January.
The one-day course is suitable for children aged five to twelve and is run by experienced and passionate coaches. Suitable for beginners, those attending will learn new skills and make new friends in a welcoming and supportive environment. Those who have played before are also welcome as the fun activities and drills will help them to improve skills such as dribbling and shooting. The importance of defensive play and teamwork will also be high on the agenda.
Participants will be split into groups for certain activities, depending on age and skill level. Phoenix players may also be in attendance to support, encourage and demonstrate, if their schedule allows.
The program is designed to be inclusive, fun and encouraging. There will be an opportunity to win prizes throughout the day and each participant will receive a Heartlands Hoops t-shirt. T-Shirts and other Promotional Products are popular ways to remember events like these.
The Broadmeadows – Heartland Hoops School Holiday Basketball Camp takes place on Monday 20th January 2025, from 9am until 3pm, at the Broadmeadows Basketball Stadium, 1 Tanderrum Way, Broadmeadows, VIC 3047. A place costs from $80. Attendees are asked to arrive before 9am to be checked off the list.
