The Ian Potter Southbank Centre has announced it will be playing host to the Chamber Music Series performed by Orchestra Victoria 2023 this August. From music and fine arts faculties to national concert halls, venues where classical music is performed often enlist experts in graphic design to create attractive programmes for those who attend shows.
Concertmaster Sulki Yu will lead Orchestra Victoria, which features the state’s most accomplished musicians in a one-hour performance presenting classical masterworks alongside new discoveries sourced from Australia’s pre-eminent composers.
Designed to offer an immersive experience for guests, the Chamber Music Series includes rare meet and greets with musicians. It also celebrates every section of Orchestra Victoria including woodwind, brass, string and percussion players to showcase their individual skill. Orchestra Victoria is recognised as the foremost pit orchestra in the state.
The Orchestra Victoria 2023 event will be live on stage at the Hanson Dyer Hall in the Ian Potter Southbank Centre on Thursday, August 17. The venue can be found at 33-43 Sturt Street in Southbank, Melbourne and the performance will run from 7.30pm to 8.30pm.
