Nominations are now open for the Hume Business Awards and local companies are encouraged to apply.
The awards are designed to highlight the quality of businesses across the City of Hume, including Broadmeadows, and will acknowledge companies that excel in several different categories.
There is a range of awards open for nominations. Some are for different sectors – such as tourism and hospitality, and manufacturing – while others are for specific areas of business, such as customer service and human resources. There is a separate category for small businesses and for new and emerging small companies. At the awards function, one entrepreneur from the city will also be named business leader of the year.
Nominations will first be short-listed and then the chosen entries will be judged by a panel, which may also visit the business or ask to interview staff or owners.
Finalists will be notified in September and the winners will be revealed at a special cocktail function to be held in October at the Parkroyal Hotel at Melbourne Airport.
Winners might like to make new orders for Stationery printing and business card printing to reflect their status, and might even consider poster printing to advertise the success to customers.
