Broadmeadows area to enjoy British singers solo debut tour

A famous frontman will be bringing his first solo tour to Australia this year, which will include a show at one of Melbourne’s biggest venues for live music.

October will find the world-renowned English singer-songwriter Thom Yorke performing live for Melbourne audiences at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl.

Major events venues like arenas and auditoriums often reach out to professional poster printing services to create advertisements that match their stature.

Renowned for being the frontman of UK rock sensation Radiohead, Yorke will be performing a set that encompasses music from across his entire career for antipodean audiences.

While to date he has not toured solo, the singer-songwriter has released three albums on his own, and created multiple original film soundtracks. He recently recorded “Confidenza” an album soundtrack designed to accompany novelist Domenico Starnone’s title of the same name.

Yorke has also been touring and recording with The Smile, a prolific rock trio that also features Jonny Greenwood and Tom Skinner. The band released its second album, called “Wall of Eyes”, this January.

Thom Yorke will now be live in concert at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl on Tuesday, 29 and Wednesday, 30 October. The venue is based at Kings Domain Gardens on Linlithgow Avenue in Melbourne, and the show will start at 8:15pm on both nights.
