Be Bold Festival to return in 2022
The Be Bold Festival, which traditionally attracts people from all over Melbourne, including nearby Broadmeadows, is set to return to Brimbank Council area in October.
Described as a family-friendly culture and arts event, the free festival presents a dynamic performance, music, culture and arts programme targeting people in all age groups. Its many highlights will include popular Melbourne artists such as Ashley Ballet, Monique DiMattina, Chelsea Wilson, Germaine McCarthy, Alzzy, Candice Monique and more.
A highlight will be a live performance by Women of Soul, with their empowering anthems and sweet soul music. Interactive entertainment for the entire family will also include everything from Snuff Puppets, Curbside Carnies and circus performances to the Pacific Islands' Te Tangi O Te Ka'ara and their traditional dance, beats and drums, plus many top musicians.

The Mayor said a special exhibition entitled ‘Bold Stories Bold Lives’ by Ashley Ellis, a local artist, will also be presented during the festival, along with the announcement of winners in the 123 Film Competition Awards.
