One of the world’s most popular lifestyle events is making its way to the Sunshine Coast this year.
The Wanderlust festival began in California in 2009 and is now held at dozens of venues across America and internationally each year.
The event focuses on outdoor activities and healthy living, and includes yoga, meditation, and organic food.
This October, it will be held on the Sunshine Coast for the first time and Maroochydore residents wanting to take part will need to make the short drive to the Novotel resort at Twin Waters.
The Sunshine Coast festival will include yoga classes from internationally recognised instructors, motivational speakers including Sydney-based Swami Govindananda, founder of Ji Living – Think Well, and music from American singer Donovan Frankenreiter and Australian dance group Sneaky Sound System, as well as taking advantage of the beach location with surfing and boarding opportunities.
The event could also be good for hospitality businesses and accommodation providers on the coast, with more than 3,000 people from around Australia and overseas locations such as New Zealand and the United States expected to attend. Flyer printing would provide a cost effective way to advertise special offers for the duration of the festival.
The festival will be held from Thursday, October 15th to Sunday, October 18th. More details can be found on the official Wanderlust website where tickets can also be purchased.
