Maroochydore will soon present a fundraising event dedicated to fighting homelessness in the Sunshine Coast area.
Community and business leaders in Maroochydore are invited to support homeless people living in the region with an event called “Vinnies Sunshine Coast CEO Sleepout”. This is being held in the suburb to raise both funds and awareness for the issue of homelessness in the community.
The sleepout is organised by Vinnies (St Vincent de Paul Society), the Queensland-based charity that supplies housing, emergency relief and support services.
Enterprises getting involved with registered charities and non-profit organisations sometimes show their support by supplying Promotional Products that help spread important messages among members of the public.
Business heads coming to the event can become part of an evening of solidarity. Together, all attending will experience what it is like to have a night’s sleep on the beach and make a positive impact on the lives of people in Maroochydore who are less fortunate.
Participation and fundraising at the event will help supply vital resources and support like accommodation, emergency aid, meals and long-term assistance to homeless people in need.
Vinnies Sunshine Coast CEO Sleepout will now run at the Maroochy Surf Club on Thursday, June 18. The event has a start time of 6 pm and the club is situated 36 Alexandra Parade in Maroochydore.Get a Free Quote for Promotional Products
