Maroochydore to enjoy jazz dining

A restaurant and bar known for its New Orleans and French cuisine is holding an event in Maroochydore that mixes a curated menu with live jazz music.

Food connoisseurs in the area will not want to miss a unique eating experience headed for the suburb this summer. Entitled the “Orleans Soiree 2026”, it invites diners to an extended degustation lunch with a relaxing soundtrack supplied by live jazz musicians.

The carefully crafted courses are inspired by Southern charm and feature fresh produce sourced in the state with wine pairings. Included in the “Curated Plate 2026” programme, the exclusive event unites bold flavours with hospitality and a hint of New Orleans magic.

Local food suppliers involved in the select menu include Mooloolah River Fisheries (blackened swordfish and Cajun seared tuna), Ricks on 6th (brioche rolls) and Maleny Dairies (chocolate mousse and fromage frais). Wines served will include On Point Pinot Grigio, Mackenzie William 1896 Riesling, Miss Bronte Cabernet Sauvignon and Charli Jaye Chardonnay.

The Orleans Soiree 2026 will now run at the Orleans Restaurant and Bar on Sunday, July 26. The event starts at 12 pm and the price of admission is $170 per person. The acclaimed eatery is sited at Shop, 24 Duporth Avenue in Maroochydore.
