USA comedian Al Del Bene now calls Sydney his home. He started doing standup at the tender age of 18 and moved to New York to become part of the underground comedy scene. From there, he moved to Los Angeles where he played regularly at the Laugh Factory on Sunset Boulevard.
Touring with US comedian Dane Cook, Del Bene is no stranger to stadiums and arenas. He has also supported Jon Lovitz and Tim Allen on many occasions and has performed with Bill Burr at the Sydney Opera House.
TV appearances include NESN Comedy All Stars, Jon Lovitz Presents and Comics Unleashed. Del Bene has also supported the troops in Iraq and Kuwait, where he was the Emcee. The audience attending the gig at The Solbar can be assured of a world-class act; the Manly Daily has referred to him as a:
“Genius of Stand-Up.”
