Up and coming Aussie band to play in Maroochydore

Fans of homegrown talent might well wish to experience Luke Morris & The Heavy Hitters when the group plays at a venue in Maroochydore in September.

Luke Morris used to be a solo indie artist. Hailing from South Australia, he is now firmly entrenched in Byron Bay, and has since formed the band Luke Morris & The Heavy Hitters.

Following the release of a popular song called Grace in March, the band are now introducing their next release, Someday, on the tour. The songs will feature on the upcoming album, Long Desert Highways.

According to critics, the sound is warm, heartfelt and emotive, and is sure to delight a receptive Maroochydore audience.

The band consists of Luke Morris on guitar and vocals, with members Sam Joseph, Alex Howe on bass guitar, Kit Bray on lead guitar and Pete Wilkins on drums. The four latest members of the group are all additionally members of successful Australian band Ocean Alley.

Local printing services may be involved in printing Posters and other publicity items in order to advertise up and coming band nights.

Luke Morris & The Heavy Hitters – Someday Tour will be taking place on Friday, 13 September at 7pm at The Solbar, Maroochydore. Tickets cost $22.45. The support artist is musician, producer and actor Will Hearn, who will be sharing songs and stories with the audience.
