Living in the 70s is a group that specialises in music from yesteryear. During the cruise, the band will be providing the live music experience with well-known covers such as Livin’ on a Prayer, Could You be Loved and Rocking All Over The World. Australian bands are also well represented with the likes of music from AC/DC, Skyhooks and Daddy Cool.
During the sunset trip, the river cruise meanders past the vista of the Sunshine Coast waterway, as revellers can sing and dance along, with the added comfort of being able to purchase food and drinks onboard.
Living in the 70s started promoting these special river cruises this year, and so far, they have proved popular, with events often selling out. Band merchandise for groups like these can often be generated by local Print shops.
Rob Rhodes, who fronts the band, has said:
“We’re just trying to capture the true vibe of the 70s, and do these songs justice in a 100% completely live and organic way.”
