Avid readers, including members of Sunshine Coast libraries at Maroochydore, Coolum and Kawana, are being invited to join acclaimed author and actress Judy Nunn at a special literary event in Caloundra.
Nunn, who has been featured on poster printing across the country, has enjoyed a multifaceted and long career gaining a great following in roles such as Ailsa Stewart (Alf’s wife) in ‘Home and Away’, and Doctor Irene Fisher in ‘Sons and Daughters’.
Later, she began scriptwriting for radio and television and eventually, during the 1990s, became an author.
The result was three instant bestsellers with Araluen, Centre Stage and The Glitter Game.
Nunn’s success as a novelist was widespread with over a million sales, and her talents have made her a household name in Australia.
Two years ago, Nunn was awarded an Order of Australia for her services as an actor and scriptwriter to the performing arts, both on stage and screen, as well as to literature in her role as an author.
In Caloundra at the Events Centre on November 8, she will discuss her latest fiction release, ‘Sanctuary’. Master of ceremony will be column writer and radio personality Sami Muirhead.
Those attending the special literary event, which is part of a series of author talks at Sunshine Coast Libraries, will be able to purchase a copy of Nunn’s Books on the night.Get a Free Quote for Books
