Maroochydore to hear indie folk

An Australian indie-folk act will perform for a Maroochydore audience in springtime.

Maroochydore music lovers can get their chance to see a musical duo perform their own brand of independent folk music later this year. In October, the suburb’s acclaimed live music venue Solbar will present Australia’s own Salt Tree in concert.

The spring gig in Maroochydore is part of a nationwide tour for 2025 that will see the two-man group play their favourite places in Australia and follows their biggest tour of Europe as a headline act.

Music promoters and record labels sometimes order cost-conscious promotional products featuring branding that can be gifted to fans at concerts and question and answer sessions.

The duo features avid surfers Nathan Parsons and Tom Boerema who share a passion for storytelling, real life experiences and being outdoors. Unsurprisingly their music has reputedly earned popularity as a soundtrack for summertime road trips and songs around the campfire.

With three successful EPs to their credit and support slots for accomplished artists like Ziggy Alberts (Australia) and Jeremy Loops (Europe), Salt Tree have now gained a loyal fanbase and experienced more than million streams of their tracks.

Salt Tree will be on stage at Solbar on Friday, October 24. The set has a start time of 7 pm and the music venue is based at10/12-20 Ocean Street in Maroochydore.
