Maroochydore to enjoy Australian indie

An alternative band from Melbourne, Victoria will soon perform a live set at a music venue in Maroochydore.

Indie music lovers living in Maroochydore with a passion for homegrown sounds will rejoice to hear that Australia’s own British India are coming to the suburb this spring. The band are booked to play a single-night show at hit nightspot Solbar in September as part of their latest tour called “Gospel of Luke”.

The tour title comes from the name of the band’s latest single, released recently in June. The song is the first new music issued by British India following an eight-year break. It also showcases their new guitarist Jack Tosi’s talents who is replacing Nic Wilson, a founding member of the group.
