Maroochydore residents to enjoy comedy this November

Maroochydore’s local council, the Sunshine Coast Council, is bringing back the Sunshine Coast Comedy Festival for the second time this November.

The festival will take place across the region, with performances from over 30 comedians, and there will be a Comedy Club dedicated to the festival for four days. Brochure printing is a great way to showcase information on various performers at an event like this to make it easy for festival-goers to easily access all the details they need.

The Sunshine Coast Comedy Festival will include well-known comedians such as Fiona O’Loughlin, Wil Anderson and Tripod, who will headline the events. It will take place across multiple locations, which includes Caloundra, Noosa, Birtinya, Palmview, Maleny, Maroochydore, Mooloolaba and Eumundi.

Other noteworthy events of the festival are the Opening Night Comedy Gala, to be held at Birtinya, a Comedy Craft Brewery Tour in Noosa and a comedy cruise that will occur onboard The Catalina Noosa. By spreading the festival across a range of venues, the Economy Portfolio Councillor, Jason O’Pray, hopes to boost the economy by bringing tourism into the area and providing support for jobs.

Along with the Sunshine Coast Council, Festivals Australia, Laughable and the Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Communications have provided support for the event.

The Sunshine Coast Comedy Festival will run from November 11th to November 14th. Tickets can be purchased from the festival website.
