A local Maroochydore business is offering soap-making workshops for older children and adults interested in making their own natural soap as an alternative to purchasing.
Aimee Clark, a local fitness and lifestyle coach at Primal Influence on Norman Avenue, runs the workshops alongside her mother Robyn.
The soap is prepared with a base of coconut oil and as well as attendees producing their own soap at the workshop, Aimee provides a selection of different soaps to take home and try.
The workshop gives information on the best places to find the ingredients to make a variety of homemade soaps as well as teaching the necessary skills to make the soap. These practical workshops could be a great bonding experience for mothers and daughters and there is plenty of time to relax and chat throughout.
Healthy and natural drinks and snacks will be provided and the workshop is a perfect opportunity to get a group of friends or family together to experience something new and learn new skills. The use of flyer printing campaigns can be an effective way for organisers to promote workshops like this to residents and other interested parties.
Workshops are held every few months and each workshop runs for around two hours. The cost is $65 per person or $110 for a double booking. For more information is available on the Primal Influence website, where bookings can be made. The next workshop will be taking place on 15th and 16th August.
