Headlining the impressive list of performances will be three iconic rock bands from the 1990s. These are London’s Bush, the USA’s Stone Temple Pilots and +Live+, all of which have sold more than 20 million records worldwide.
Australian rock and roll favourites Rose Tattoo featuring lead singer Angry Anderson, as well as classic rock band Electric Mary will join their international counterparts on the same bill for this annual spectacular.
Jason O’Pray, Sunshine Coast Councillor on the Tourism, Sport and Major Events Portfolio, said event tickets were already on sale and those attending could look forward to great music, adding:
“There will also be a host of new installations and activities planned around the live music acts, including carnival rides, market stalls, food vendors and many other great features for an awesome day and night out for those over 18.”
He said this year’s Under the Southern Stars event, held in January, had been a great success and he expected the same for its return in 2020. Major music events of this magnitude are often advertised via poster printing.
Part of a national tour, the event is scheduled for April 17 at the Sunshine Coast Stadium.
