Home grown band has tour date scheduled for Maroochydore

An indie band from New South Wales is going to be touring this year, and one of the stops is scheduled to be a popular venue in Maroochydore this March.

Vanilla Gorilla has band members that are reportedly passionate about creating their own style of rock and roll. The self-proclaimed group of “young at heart” friends from Bungwahl started playing together in 2012. Since then, they have toured the East Coast of Australia, performing at festivals and headlining their own tours.

After a three-year break, the band’s third album, Home, is due to be released on the 27 February. With a sound that encompasses psychedelic rock, blues, reggae and hip-hop, the band is keen for fans old and new to join them for a 90-minute set, which will include songs such as the popular single Tropicana, as well as the more recent additions to the catalogue.

One of the tunes that the band will be playing is Exhale, which is a release from their latest album.

Fans at live music events are often encouraged to purchase promotional products such as T-shirts, beanies and posters, in order to demonstrate their loyalty to the band.

The Vanilla Gorilla 2025 Home Album Tour will be appearing at The Solbar in Maroochydore on Friday, 14 March at 7 pm. Tickets cost $39.99. A supporting artist is yet to be confirmed.
