Hands Like Houses comes to Maroochydore

Canberra-born five-person band Hands Like Houses will be performing in Maroochydore this April.

Hands Like Houses was formed in 2008. The band sees Matt Cooper as lead guitarist, Trenton Woodley on lead vocals, Alex Pearson on backing vocals and rhythm guitar, Joel Tyrrell on backing vocals and bass guitar and Matt Parkitny as the drummer.

The band members have been touring together for over 10 years, and during this period, they have achieved success with ARIA, released a Triple J feature album and have had many sold-out tours over the world. Music events such as this can be widely promoted via poster printing, with an image of the band and text on the poster providing details on the event date, location and contact details for ticket purchases.

The group released an EP in 2020. The music is based on several themes, such as barriers to communication, resolutions and clashes. The ‘Reflect’ Tour is an opportunity for Hands Like Houses to relax and look back on the challenges that 2020 presented. These problems have driven the band to produce its music differently. The shows on the new tour will be the group’s first music events that are COVID-safe.

On Sunday, 25th April, Hands Like Houses will be performing from 6pm at Solbar in Maroochydore. Tickets cost $44.90 per person and are restricted to those 18 years or older.
