Fancy a visit to Chile? The sunshine coast can bring it to you

For those who love the food, wine, dancing, passion and excitement of Chile, the ‘A Taste of Coolum – A Night in Chile’ event is not to be missed. This June, the Palmer Resort Coolum hopes to bring Chile to the sunshine coast with a Chile themed night that promises to have guests feeling like they are stepping into the heart of Santiago.

The resort’s square is going to be transformed into a bustling Chilean Piazza were there will be cooking stations and top quality Chilean entertainment such as dancers decked out in authentic costumes. Chilean chefs will be preparing a selection of mouth-watering Chilean dishes such as empanadas, roasted pork ribs and garlic and chilli prawns. Pastry chef Wuile Pineda Flores is even flying in from Santiago and will be spoiling guests with her range of homemade sweets. A fine selection of Chilean wines will also be available to taste and to drink.

This event aims to provide visitors to the sunshine coast and those who live in Coolum or nearby areas such as Mooloolaba with an authentic Chilean experience. It promises to be informative and a great amount of fun and is expected to be a big success.
